Solo marcher spreads message of ‘murder’ in Minnesota
Sarah Wildsmith didn’t mind being alone with her sign alongside U.S. 64 on Sunday, Jan. 11.
She was there because she felt like she had to be, had to make a statement that the slaying last week in Minneapolis, Minn., of a 37-year-old mother of three and a U.S. veteran was both wrong and unnecessary.
“They will justify your murder too,” read the sign she carried in front of a strip mall that’s home to the Monte Alban Mexican restaurant, a realtor and other shops.
Renee Nicole Good had just dropped off her 6-year-old son at school when she was shot by an agent with Immigrant Customs Enforcement at the scene of a downtown protest.
